Quick Update

Hi everyone, It is now 7:40 at night on december 2nd 2014. Today is blog upload day, and I had plans to upload a gift guide blog. It is going to be fairly long and due to being sick and having a boat load of homework, I will unfortunately not get that blog up until Thursday! I wanted to update you all on a few things real fast.

7 Things I am Thankful For

There is a large list of things that I am Thankful for. It was honestly hard to make a list, and to be honest a lot of it is cliche. I don't care though, and of course there are many other things that I am grateful for that is not listed! In the comments below tell me what you are grateful for! This list obviously does not go in order.


  1. Chipotle- Chipole is like heaven in a bowl. I want to eat chipotle for every meal for a week, it's on my bucket list. I know it's silly but who wouldn't want to eat at there favorite restaurant for every meal for a week?
  2. Starbucks- Starbucks is my favorite coffee place. I would have to recommend to the non-coffee drinkers to get the "Cotton Candy Frap", it is amazing! I get either the cotton candy frappichino or the Java chip frappachino (which has coffee in it)
  3. Photography- If it weren't for photography,I wouldn't be blogging today. Photography has inspired me to do so much!The people that I have met along the way have been AMAZING!
  4. Family- I know this is cliche, but I don't know what I would do without my family and their support. They are all so loving and supportive!
  5. Friends- My friends are so sweet and supportive as well. I don't know what I would do without their help and support.
  6. My IPhone- This is kinda something a "teenager" would say, but it's true. I do everything on my phone and computer. If apple hadn't created the iPhone I don't know what I would be using (definitely not an android, sorry android users)
  7. Movies- Some days I love just laying on the couch watching moves. Christmas movies, Chick-flicks, and comedies are my favorite movies!

Cartwright Family Photoshoot

Tis' the season for family pictures. This is my favorite season only because I love Christmas trees, Christmas lights, hot chocolate, shopping season, thanksgiving, and of course family and friends.

I got to take the Cartwright family's pictures! Let me just tell you, this is one of the sweetest family's I have ever worked with! They were so laid back (The kids were to). I will stop rambling and show you all the pictures. I absolutely love love love how the pictures came out!

Madi Leigh Photography Senior Modeling Program:
 You may be wondering what the point in senior modeling is. In this blog post I will be showing you Senior Modeling 101. It is truly an unforgettable experience! The best thing is you don’t need any modeling experience.



The first thing you might be wondering is “Why get professional pictures done when I can just get them done through school?” Well the answer is simple, with the school portraits you are only going to have shoulders up most of the time, with the senior modeling program you will have different outfits, poses, and locations. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with school pictures, but don’t you want your senior pictures to be something great? There is another perk that we will discuss when you apply!

What is included
Free Photo shoots until next year (around 3+ photo shoots)
80+ Digital pictures
CD with all the pictures on it at the end of the year.
Online album 
Free styled photo shoot (1+)



There are 3 steps in the application process, but they are very easy!

New blogging schedule + 3 Goals

I have decided that it would be best if I changed my blogging schedule once again, to fit my schedule. I have decided that I will post Mondays! Look out for a schedule change around christmas

3 Goals:
This goes back to my bucket list post, but I will be telling you 3 wishes that I would like to accomplish before the end of 2014.

  1. Get Fit- This is the number one thing that I wish to accomplish before 2014 is over. I am so out of shape I can barely run a half a mile. So I wish to get fit, and start playing field hockey. I will also be posting another blog going into depth about this.
  2. Start Blogging Consistently- I know I am terrible about blogging constantly. I do really want to blog consistently, so this is one of my goals before 2014 is over! I will at least be posting every Saturday!
  3. Give Up Soda- I know how bad soda is for you I have just never tried to give it up, I drink quite a bit of soda. I want to try to stop drinking coke forever, but I am going to set a goal for at least a whole month, with only drinking one coke in that time period.

I know I have been doing alot of lists lately and I hope you are liking them, because I am certainly enjoying writing them. I am going to try to blog at least twice a week, but I do not want to say that I will and not actually do it.

My fitness routine + Blogging

For the past 2 years my new years resolution has been to workout. Just like most new years resolutions, it went down the drain in the matter of a week. I decided about a month ago that I wanted to workout more. I am totally out of shape and want to make it a priority to workout daily. I hope that you enjoy the blog. I hope to hear back from you all.


Most the time I don't have time to workout for hours (not that I would want to anyway!)
Here is my routine.

5 minute routine twice a day + 10 minute walk/run:
Burpbees for 30 seconds
15 Pull-ups
5 push ups
25 Jumping Jacks
another 30 seconds of exercise of choice
Either half mile walk/run or 1 mile bike ride.



This is not what I go by every day. Obviously I try to stick around this, but I do try to push myself more and more every day.



Blogging
I obviously don't blog like a normal blogger. My blogs are short, and to the point most of the time. I have decided that I want most of my blogs to be in this format so they are longer, starting today most of my blogs will be in this format. What I mean my "this format" is a "2 part" blog. where I have 2 parts to the blog. 2 different topics. For example with this blog post: Part one is Fitness Routine and Part 2 is Blogging. Two different blog topics, that I am combining to be longer. Not all blog posts will be like this, but most of them will be.
I will also be posting Monday-Friday! I know I have made this commitment before, and things have not worked. I will try to have blogs up Monday-Friday though!

No caffene day 1-5 update

I am going to be posting these every single Saturday until the end of the month. it will be about what it has been like each day with no caffeine. I hope you all enjoy!

Day 1 (Tuesday):
I am just dying for some coffee or soda. I will not break.

Day 2 (Wednesday):
Woke up this morning, walked past the Kurig coffee maker and wanted a cup of coffee so bad. I did not have one, and I am regretting it with this headache I have now...

Day 3 (Thursday):
Today was not bad at all. I came home from school and decided to get some water, I am feeling so much more refreshed!

Day 4 (Friday): Today, I had tea for breakfast... I know... but I am considering still drinking tea. We'll see how it goes :)

Day 5 (Saturday): Today I woke up and went for a run. It made all my junk food cravings go away! I came home and drank a cup of water!
